Barron’s calling a housing bottom. This is not a great sign to me, but Barron’s isn’t all that great as a contrarian indicator, and the internet has been messing up the traditional magazine cover indicators anyway. I think because the traditional ones have felt pressured to publish things as quickly as possible.

This type of indicator is far more useful. If you can find someone who consistently goes the wrong way, keep an eye on them.

Should we get rid of all time zones? The biggest issue with one zone is it’s not as intuitively obvious whether you would be waking someone up if you call.
